Bob has been a driver, crew chief & car owner. He started his racing career at the age of 15 as a crew member for the late Bob Shryock and then moving into the cockpit himself as a late model driver. This has helped Harris learn all aspects of the race car. As a chassis builder, his modified chassis design has become legendary with over 10,000 recorded feature wins in two different countries. His research and development redefined the Modified racing industry.
Originally, the chassis school started as a deal with our customers. Only those who bought a car from Bob were invited, to make sure that customers had the most amount of knowledge they could have about a race car. Like everything else, if you give them good service and educate them on how to use the product, the end result is going to be positive. When Bob sold Harris Auto Racing, he opened schools up to anyone that wanted to come. One class is strictly for a 2-Link car like a Sport Mod or USRA or WISSOTA BMod. Additionally, BHE holds a 4-Link school. We want to educate them about your race car and understand what your can do on the car.
Bob takes his experience at all the levels to be able to share his knowledge in a way that everyone can
understand. Many well-known Late Model, Modified & Stock Car drivers have benefited from his experience
and set-up knowledge. His expertise has launched race teams to National, Regional, and Super National
titles as well as numerous area & Track Championships in IMCA, NASCAR, UMP, USMTS, WISSOTA, and many other sanctions.
