Race Car Welder/Fabricator

Bob Harris Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Race Car

Fabricator position within Bob Harris Enterprises. This is an ideal position for

a talented, motivated person who has a passion for the racing industry.

Our company works primarily with Modified/Sport Mod/Stock Cars &

Hobby Stock race cars. Experience is a must. Applicants must be mechanical

and able to assemble complete cars.
MIG welding proficiency is required as we do many chassis repairs and

manufacture many of our own parts MIG welding experience is required, and

a welding test will be completed as a pre-screening measure for this position.

Experience in manufacturing and fabrication is preferred, but we are willing to

train the right individual to meet our needs

Job Duties:
• Apply basic and some advanced technical skills and knowledge to perform various production operations to fabricate, install, assemble, and repair race cars.
• Completing chassis repairs (cutting, fitting, bending, and welding tubing)
• Fabricating chassis components and parts
• Disassembling and reassembling race cars and parts
• Assisting customers with loading and product questions
• Operating & Utilizing many tools and equipment, including wire welder, band saw, plasma cutter, tubing bender, acetylene torch, air bumper jack, standard hand tools, and more
• Track current inventory and anticipate stock needed. - Perform other related duties as required.
• Maintaining courteous and polite customer relationships

• Perform required duties with minimal supervision

• Driver’s license required
• 5+ years of welding, cutting & fabrication skills required
• Aluminum welding experience is recommended
